What is ImmiAccount?
To apply for visas and citizenship in Australia, visit the official portal of the government https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/. Login should be created to access Immi account. There are individual and organisational logins. For student visas choose individual login by giving your credentials. Following are the details required for login,
● Family name – mandatory
● Given name – optional
● Phone number- mandatory
● mobile telephone number- optional
● email address – confirm twice- mandatory
Press continue and enter the following details:
● Enter your username (email address)
● Enter your password
● Choose a secret questions from the given list
● Provide an answer to the secret questions (always remember the case sensitive answer)
● Set your security preferences
Accept the “terms and conditions” of the ImmiAccount after reading it. And by checking out the checkbox prove yourself not to be a robot. Select continue button from the “Login Successful Page”. Then by logging into your mail address confirm your identity and then you can apply for student visas by opening your account with the ‘Login Credentials’. The portal allows its users to recapture their forgotten credentials by giving “Forgotten username or password” options.
Applying Online
The ImmiAccount applicant can ‘Start a new application’, ‘Continue a saved application’, ‘Import an application’, ‘Share the application to other accounts’, ‘Send an incomplete application to other accounts’ or to ‘Remove an application’.
Starting a new application and continuing the incomplete application
After logging in the ImmiAccount choose the ‘New Application’ option and select the appropriate application form from the list. Read and agree to the terms and conditions and press the ‘Save’ button, thus you can continue anytime. When you login again, edit your application by using “+ icon” and add details. Upload the necessary documents (maximum 60 files) as attachments that do not exceed 5mb and 500mb. Formats like .bmp, .dcm, .doc,.docx / .docx, .dot, .els, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .pdf, .ppt / .pptx, .rft, .txt and .xlsx are allowed. Submit the documents and and in case of any mistake you can remove the document or can contact the official representatives through ImmiAccount.

The intimation messages will be transferred through immiAccount, so login and check for any updates. The mistakes in the application can be conveyed and can provide further details and update the details through the account.
